The inset on the graphic incorrectly depicts nassau county as being part of the new york city area codes, and suffolk county as being 516.

Also, it turns Westchester county into part of the Bronx and parts of CT into New York State. 209.73.60.130 15:35, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removed the following text: ", but all of the other area codes in the city can be used for such services. (The previous sentence makes no sense, and includes the word 'but' implying some difference or contrast between the first half and the second. I'd fix this myself but I'm not sure if the 'but' should be changed to 'and' (implying similarity) or if either the first half or second half should be changed to reflect the actual contrast more accurately.)" I think the original author may have assumed that area codes for different devices are the norm which is true in the UK and Germany but not in the USA. The USA tends not to have dedicated area codes for different devices. (Telephone tarifs are similar among the different types of devices, which is also different from other countries.)
